"You are as much serving God in looking after your own children, and training them up in God's fear, and minding the house, and making your household a church for God, as you would be if you had been called to lead an army to battle for the Lord of hosts."
~Charles Spurgeon

"TAG!" I'm it!

One of my dear friends, Myra tagged me to reveal 6 unremarkable quirks about myself. So, now I'm it.

My Six Unremarkable Quirks...

1. I'm, what my husband calls, a "secret slob". I'm a firm believer of "there's a place for everything and everything has it's place" but when it comes to laundry and clothes, I just can't get it and keep it organized.

2. I always have to wear slippers around the house and socks when I sleep. I don't like walking around bare footed.

3. I have to close the back door of our SUV at least 3 times to ensure that it doesn't pop open when we're driving.

4. I'm slightly dyslexic, so sometimes when I read or take down numbers I have to double, triple check what it was I just read or wrote down so I don't mix the words/numbers up.

5. I gag whenever I see other people brushing their teeth. The first time I brushed my kid's teeth I gagged. I learned to just concentrate and get through it.

6. I'm accident prone. I always get hurt, especially when I'm in the kitchen.

OK...the following people consider yourself tagged, Chanette, Sharon, Acy, Erwin, Nelson, and Cindy.

Here are the rules:
  1. Link the person who tagged you.
  2. Mention the rules in your blog.
  3. Tell about six unspectacular quirks of yours.
  4. Tag six bloggers by linking them. (They shall be "it")

Have fun and Happy Tagging!

It's so true!!! I can't stand seeing people brush their teeth. Anything that has to do with the mouth and salivia...yew! I'm gagging as I type. Yuck!

Jean, tell Bill that would be so mean if you guys did that!

Psalm 116: 1-9

I love the LORD, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.

Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live.

The cords of death entangled me,
the anguish of the grave came upon me;
I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.

Then I called on the name of the LORD :
"O LORD, save me!"

The LORD is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion.

The LORD protects the simplehearted;
when I was in great need, he saved me.

Be at rest once more, O my soul,
for the LORD has been good to you.

For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,

that I may walk before the LORD
in the land of the living.
