"You are as much serving God in looking after your own children, and training them up in God's fear, and minding the house, and making your household a church for God, as you would be if you had been called to lead an army to battle for the Lord of hosts."
~Charles Spurgeon

Love those aprons, Chone! I am addicted to aprons - use them all the time, make them for my daughters and granddaughters and hoard all I can. If it wasn't for my aprons I wouldn't have any clothes to wear because I am so messy when I cook. Go to this link for a post on the good woman about aprons:

Sharon! Thanks for stopping by :)

The aprons you made are so pretty! I'm hoping to grow in my sewing skills to make these one day. I've plateaued since I got my first sewing machine.

I should get a book and learn how to sew with my daughters...*click*...(light bulb just came on). Homeschool lesson! Yes!

Psalm 116: 1-9

I love the LORD, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.

Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live.

The cords of death entangled me,
the anguish of the grave came upon me;
I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.

Then I called on the name of the LORD :
"O LORD, save me!"

The LORD is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion.

The LORD protects the simplehearted;
when I was in great need, he saved me.

Be at rest once more, O my soul,
for the LORD has been good to you.

For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,

that I may walk before the LORD
in the land of the living.
