Here's a close up of the pattern.
Here is a picture of the completed blanket all wrapped up with a pretty green bow.
Here's a close up of the pattern.
I love the LORD, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.
Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live.
The cords of death entangled me,
the anguish of the grave came upon me;
I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.
Then I called on the name of the LORD :
"O LORD, save me!"
The LORD is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion.
The LORD protects the simplehearted;
when I was in great need, he saved me.
Be at rest once more, O my soul,
for the LORD has been good to you.
For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,
that I may walk before the LORD
in the land of the living.

Great job Chon, it's beautiful!
Yeah, Chone. You did a great job on this--Len loves it and I'm sure Tristan will, too!
P.S. The cupcakes were a hit as well....
Thanks B! Love ya!
Thanks too, Jean. I'm glad she likes it! I'd love to get together and knit sometime. Love ya!
Very impressive! You're so talented Chona. It's wonderful to see how much you enjoy knitting. Handmade gifts are the best. I'm sure Len will treasure this one.
Oh, I also saw pictures of your delish-looking cupcakes. I wonder when I'll get to try one!?
Hi Michelle!
Thanks for visiting me. I love knitting! I wish I could make more things but for now I'm happy just to make these sweet blankets.
I agree, I think handmade gifts are so thoughtful.
Hopefully one day, I can bake a batch for you. Maybe I'll try my hand at shipping cupcakes...who knows.
