My mom especially liked these. She said they remind her of her childhood. Every now and then when she comes over she'll ask me to make her some, even if it's in the late afternoon. The smile on her face when a stack of these are made just for her is worth putting this recipe in our family favorites list. Enjoy!

1 cup milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
salt and pepper to taste

Cool, looking forward to your recipe posts. I'm a recipe hound, seriously! I have more recipes than I know what to do with. If you're interested, I have some recipes too at gourmand-wannabe.blogspot.com.
Thanks for the link, can I add it to my blogroll?
I don't think I'm much of a chef. That's why I get excited when I find a new recipe. I have more failure recipes than edible ones. LOL! Just ask Al about my potpourri steak that I made him when we first got married. Ever since then I've had a phobia with making steaks.
I have a bunch of recipes too that are waiting for me. I wish I was able to add them to the church cookbook but I just couldn't. Oh well that's OK.
Anyway, thanks for visiting!
Sure, Chone!
